EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey, July 19 (Reuters) – Argentina and Spain will play extra time in the World Cup final after the teams remained deadlocked at 0-0 after 90 minutes at New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday. If the scores remain level after the additional 30 minutes, a penalty shootout will decide the title.
Argentina were reduced to 10 men when Enzo Fernandez was shown a second yellow card in stoppage time at the end of the 90 minutes for a foul on Pau Cubarsi.
