A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday morning at the new restaurant located on U.S. 41 across from the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
The original McAlister’s started back in 1989 by a retired dentist in Oxford, Miss. Today, the chain has more than 400 restaurants in 28 states.
Its menu features sandwiches, soups and baked potatoes.
