DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Reports of a reckless driver led police to a man wanted in Tennessee on charges of child rape and aggravated sexual battery.
The Washington Police Department announced in a Facebook post, that officers had arrested Tyler English Friday. That arrest came after officers had been called to the Eastside Park in Washington for reports of a reckless driver.
Officers identified Tyler English as the driver of the vehicle. English was found to be wanted out of Tennessee on charges of rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery, and exploitation of a minor under the age of 13 by electronic means.
Police reported the arrest was made without incident, English was taken to the Daviess County Jail to await transfer to Tennessee.
