GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Authorities have identified a man whose body was pulled from a Greene County lake in July.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources identified him as 56-year-old William P. Hendrix of Linton. Authorities say his exact cause of death is pending autopsy results.
In mid-July Greene County Dispatch received a call of a person struggling in Midland Lake.
When responders arrived, they saw Hendrix unresponsive in the water and pulled him to shore.
He was taken to Greene County General Hospital and then flown to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis where he was pronounced dead.
