GREENCASTLE, Ind. — Putnamville Correctional Facility will host a job fair from 2 to 7 p.m. Aug. 29 at the training building across from the facility, 1946 US 40 in Greencastle, Ind.
Correctional officer and maintenance foremen positions are available.
Applicants must be a minimum 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
The maintenance positions require some past experience, and pay is based on experience. The shift is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A correctional officer pay starts out at $16 per hour. Shifts are 12 hours.
Both positions come with full benefits including retirement.
Staff will be present to conduct on the spot interviews and provide any help needed in the application process
