DANA, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Late Friday, the Indiana State Police cancelled a statewide Silver Alert initially issued by Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department for a teen from Dana, Ind. Dana is 74 miles west of Indianapolis.
Vermillion County Dispatch could not provide more details on the cancellation late Friday.
Destiny Baugh, 17, was last seen at 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 7; however, according to Vermillion County Sheriff Mike Phelps, she has since contacted family members. She would not provide details about her location, but told them she was “fine.”
Baugh is originally from Vigo County, and Phelps said Vigo County officials were involved in the search.
Baugh is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 250 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
