TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — United Campus Ministries held one of their biggest annual fundraisers Sunday to support their efforts in serving students in Vigo County.
United Campus Ministries works with Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman, Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College and Ivy Tech.
The Chilli Fest and Silent Auction helps them continue giving students the help they need.
The group provides students with resources such as food from their food pantry and mental health support.
“We are there to support students and one of the biggest things that are going on a student right is a high levels of anxiety just representative of the culture that we’re in,” said Reverend Dawn Black with UCM.
The fundraiser is in its 20th year.
