First license issued in Illinois under new International Medical Graduate Pathway

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has issued the first license under a new pathway allowing qualified healthcare professionals to practice medicine in Illinois under the supervision of a licensed physician, in an effort to address the state’s healthcare staffing shortages.
