Indiana and Illinois senators help introduce act to increase support for veteran education

Senators Tammy Duckworth and Jim Banks introduced the Veteran Education Assistance Adjustment Act, which would increase the yearly books and supplies stipend to $1,500 and the supply stipends for apprenticeships to $128, to help veterans pursue higher education and training opportunities without being held back by rising costs.
