GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Greene County Sheriff’s Department will hold a fundraiser next week at both JoEtta’s Pizza Villa locations in Linton and Jasonville.
Law enforcement will wait tables for tips as part of “Project Lifesaver.” The money buys wristbands, transmitters and batteries used to help those with severe autism or dementia.
The bands track a person’s movement so if they wander away from their home, they can easily be found. Authorities in Greene County said the wristbands help protect some of their most vulnerable residents.
