SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Sullivan Lake is one of four lakes in Indiana to receive grant money for rebuilding efforts this week, being rewarded $100,000 for renovation efforts.
The money for the rebuilding effort comes from an Indiana Lakes and Rivers Enhancement Grant and will benefit the lake’s shoreline. Over 22 other Indiana rivers and streams received grant money totaling $1.4 million.
The funded projects, according to grant guidelines, must be completed within a two year timeline.
