TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – As work continues on the Terre Haute convention center, a portion of a street downtown is closed for a few days.
Crews shut down Cherry Street between 7th and 8th Streets for sewer installation for the convention center project.
The street is expected to reopen on Friday.
The firm overseeing the project recently said the first phase of work on the convention center, which includes things like utilities and drainage, is on schedule.
